Meet K9 Mac! The newest member of Rockland County Sheriff’s Office
The Rockland County Sheriff’s Office welcomed the newest member of their K9 Unit, K9 Mac. K9 Mac is an 18 month old German Shepard from Hungary, that Sheriff Falco purchased using asset forfeiture funds.
K9 Mac is named in remembrance of our department’s recent passing of Detective Al McMahon. K9 Mac and his handler Officer Angelo Bragaglia will begin K9 Patrol School for the next 16 weeks starting March 11th.

Piermont Fire Department Responds to Early Morning Crash in Grandview — No Injuries Reported

S. Little Tor Rd. is currently closed between Germonds Rd. and Chestnut Grove Ct. due to a one-car accident. The driver was assisted on scene by Clarkstown Police, New City Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and @rockland_paramedic_services.
As a result of the accident, power has been shut off in the surrounding area while @oruconnect works to make necessary repairs.
Please avoid the area and use alternate routes.
