Haverstraw Police Join Tunnel to Towers 5K in NYC

NEW YORK CITY — Today, members of the Haverstraw Police Department proudly participated in the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk, honoring the courage and sacrifice of the heroes of September 11, 2001.

This annual event retraces the heroic final footsteps of FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller, who ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers on 9/11. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation event supports first responders, military service members, and their families, keeping their memories and missions alive.

The Haverstraw officers joined thousands of participants from across the country in this powerful tribute, demonstrating continued commitment to service, remembrance, and community.

🇺🇸 We will never forget.
