Spring Valley Police Department is Hiring

The Spring Valley Police Department will be accepting resumes starting on May 1st through May 21st, for the position of full time police officer. They are currently looking for an experienced officer

The officers must be off probation and hold a police certification that would make them eligible for reinstatement directly into Rockland County. NYPD officers or other members of any non-NYS civil service agencies must also hold an eligible and reachable position on the current Rockland County police officers civil service list.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
