The class featured many students who have parents that are first responders/volunteers.

One of the graduates is the son of Rockland County Legislator Laurie Santulli and her husband Dominic. Laurie served with New City & Congers FD and her husband Dominic with the West Nyack FD. (picture below).

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
