Rockland County Sheriff’s Officer Bragaglia and K9 Mac graduate from K9 Patrol School

The Rockland County Sheriff’s Office announced that PO Angelo Bragaglia and K9 Mac have graduated from K9 Patrol School, hosted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

The new K9 Team of PO Bragaglia and K9 Mac completed 18 weeks of training where they became NYS DCJS Certified in tracking, article search, handler protection and apprehension.

K9 Mac is named in honor of former Rockland County Sheriff, Detective Aloysius “Al” McMahon. In the fall, this K9 Team will head back to school to be certified in explosive detection.

Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons die in house fire

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
