GoFundMe Created to Support Family of Man Killed by Impaired Driver in Orangeburg

PEARL RIVER, NY – A GoFundMe has been set up to support the family of the man who was tragically killed on July 15, 2020 in Orangeburg, New York due to an impaired driver hitting him while he was mowing his lawn.

Giovanni (John) Boiano was identified as the victim.

According to the GoFundMe page, John leaves behind his wife, Michele, and three daughters; Amanda, Emma and Melanie.

Nearly $11,000 of the $12,000 goal has been raised so far. The money will support John’s family with funeral and other living costs.

April 13th rain or shine from 10am to 5pm on Main Street and Broadway in Downtown Nyack. Celebrate SpringFest with live bands, great food, and hundreds of vendors offering unique crafts, jewelry and more!

Families and fun-seekers shouldn’t miss this special event, featuring 200 vendors with something for everyone. Jewelry, art, photography, collectibles, antiques, quality handmade crafts, unique gifts, and much more. The fair features great food, and outdoor dining.
