Driver Falls Asleep at the Wheel Causing Accident in Hillcrest

Early on Friday (November 6, 2020) morning, officers from the Ramapo Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on N. Pascack Road in the Hillcrest section of the town.

The driver of the vehicle involved claimed to have fallen asleep. The driver was transported by Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corps and Rockland Paramedic Services to a local hospital with minor injuries.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
