Pomona, N.Y. — The elves at Down to Earth Living are already hard at work turning their 10,000-square-foot showroom into a winter wonderland. For many, the holiday season is a time to savor simple joys — roasting marshmallows, sipping hot apple cider, and wrapping gifts for loved ones — and Down to Earth Living is ready to rekindle that nostalgia with its annual Holiday Open House.
The festive event will take place on Saturday, November 8, and Sunday, November 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the showroom located at 1040 Route 45 in Pomona.
Guests can expect a cheerful atmosphere complete with wine and cheese for adults, free goody bags for children, and a special visit from Santa Claus from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Santa visits are always free, and he’ll return on November 28–29, December 6–7, December 13–14, and December 20–21 for more photo opportunities and holiday cheer.
Adding to the excitement, Down to Earth Living will hold hourly $50 gift certificate giveaways from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the open house weekend. Attendees can enter for free by signing up at the register.
Each year, the Down to Earth Living showroom is transformed into a breathtaking holiday display featuring life-like Santas, state-of-the-art pre-lit artificial Christmas trees, friendly reindeer, collectible ornaments (including Mark Roberts designs), whimsical gnomes, and an array of furry woodland creatures tucked among the branches.
Visitors are invited to stroll through the displays, find inspiration for their own holiday décor, and experience the sights, scents, and sounds of the season in a space designed to spark joy for all ages.
