BARDONIA, NY – Former Marine and Rockland Businessman Barry Fixler makes a $5,000 donation to the Purple Heart 💜 Patriot Project.

The Purple Heart Patriot Project provides an all-expense paid trip to Purple Heart recipients from across the country to visit the museum dedicated as a tribute to their service, the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, and other historic sites connected with the Purple Heart.

The multi-day event will be taking place during the week of September 26, 2021, and will feature tours of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, historic Washington’s Headquarters where the Badge of Military Merit originated in 1782, and a private tour of the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor – the museum dedicated to paying tribute to our nation’s combat wounded.

Those wishing to help honor our American heroes can donate online at https://www.purpleheartmission.org/make-a-donation
