Happy 100th Birthday Francis (“Frank”) T. Duffy

Orangetown, NY – Deputy Town Supervisor Denis Troy attended a 100th birthday party for World War II Veteran Frank Duffy. Frank, retired from the United States Marine Corps, participated in the landings at Saipan, Tinian and Iwo Jima. Private First Class Duffy was awarded the Silver Star and the Purple Heart for his bravery during combat. His family, along with the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the American Legion, Post 329, wanted to make sure that Frank’s 100th birthday did not go unnoticed.

RCC’s Visual and Performing Arts Department Announces the 27th Season of the Rockland Shakespeare Company

The Rockland Community College Visual and Performing Arts department is excited to announce the 27th season of the Rockland Shakespeare Company. This season will feature performances of “Macbeth” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in the Cultural Arts Theatre, located on Rockland Community College’s main campus at 145 College Road, Suffern, New York.
The performances will begin on Friday, July 12th, and run through July 20th, starting at 7:00 pm each evening.
All performances are free and open to the public.
