VIDEO: Motorist Extracted From Pick Up Truck After Accident in Blauvelt

May 7, 2020 – At approximately 1:30 pm on Route 303 & Bradley Hill Road in Blauvelt, the Blauvelt and Orangeburg Fire Department responded to a call of an entrapped motorist.

A dump truck was involved in an accident with a pick up truck and a SUV that caused one motorist to be entrapped. The accident also caused a significant fuel spill. The male was removed from the black pick up truck and transported to Nyack Hospital with minor injuries.

Also on scene and providing transport was the South Orangetown Ambulance Corps & Medic 21.

As part of the D.A.R.E. Program with the Clarkstown Police Department, students at the Birchwood School and Link Elementary School were paid special visits from local K-9 officers and their trusty companions. The officers demonstrated how the police dogs have been trained to assist them with specialized tasks, like search and rescue, and talked to learners about all aspects of their unit. We thank the Clarkstown Police Department for their continued partnership with #ClarkstownCSD.

Clarkstown Police Were On The Scene Of A One Car Accident In Nanuet

Clarkstown Police units were on the scene of a one car accident in the area of Church St & Norwood Pl. in Nanuet. Nanuet FD and Nanuet Ambulance on scene. The sole occupant was transported to an area hospital by Nanuet Community Ambulance Corps
