Tappan Zee Bridge Shines Purple in Memory of Orangetown PD PO’s Reedy and Kennedy, Killed in the Line of Duty on this Day 50 Years Ago.
Today marks the 50th Anniversary of the line of duty deaths of Orangetown Police Department Police Officers Thomas Kennedy and Michael Reedy, who were killed by an intoxicated driver while directing traffic at an accident scene.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
