STONY POINT, NY – ***12/25/19 0500am UPDATE- The Vehicle and Driver have been located by police. If anyone is a witness to this accident or has information about this incident, they are asked to please contact the Detective Bureau of the Stony Point Police Dept. at 845-786-2422 as the investigation is on-going.

The pedestrian who was struck was transported to Westchester Medical. Sources tell us that the pedestrian has since passed away from his injuries.

On Tuesday December 24, 2019 at approximately 9:42pm the Stony Point Police responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian at the intersection of Rt 9W and Filors Lane. We are looking for a smaller Silver SUV, possibly a 2003-05 Honda Pilot with front grill damage. The vehicle/operator wanted for questioning was last seen ( attached video clip) traveling south on RT 9W from Filors Lane.
