VIDEO: Gov. Cuomo Comes Across Accident on BQE, Pulls Motorist From Vehicle

Watch the video below –

Gov. Cuomo and his team were driving on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE) to catch a flight when they passed the accident, Cuomo’s spokesperson Dani Lever told CNN.

The vehicle, resting partially on the median after slamming into the back of an SUV, was on two wheels and looked like it was about to flip onto its right side when the governor and his police detail came upon the scene.

NYPD hadn’t arrived on the scene yet, so Cuomo and the state police he was traveling with got out of the car and cut the passenger out of his seat belt, Dani Lever said. No one needed to be transported to hospital, FDNY said.

Cuomo and his team cut the man free from his seatbelt, according to a source.

Published

on

The Blue Envelope Program is a vital initiative designed to improve interactions between law enforcement and drivers with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Drivers with autism can store their license, registration, and insurance in a distinctive blue envelope, which serves as a discreet way to notify officers of their condition during traffic stops.
This program helps reduce misunderstandings, lowers anxiety, and fosters a more empathetic and safer environment for everyone. 💙
How to Get a Blue Envelope:
Reach out to autism advocacy organizations in your area or your local sheriff’s office to obtain one. Together, we can promote understanding and safety on the road!
