AAA Recognizes the Town of Ramapo with Platinum Traffic Safety Award

SUFFERN, NY – The Town of Ramapo has been awarded the Platinum Traffic Safety Award from AAA.

The awards program recognizes outstanding communities for their efforts to make the region’s roadways safer for pedestrians, motorists and bicyclists. The town was competing with all the municipalities that AAA Northeast serves.

Supervisor Specht and Police Chief Weidel will be presented with the award at AAA’s 55th Annual Community Traffic Safety Awards luncheon.

“I am very proud that we were not only recognized but selected to receive the top platinum award.” said Chief Brad Weidel.
