NYACK, NY – Join us in congratulating Amiel D’auria of the Chelsea Hook & Ladder Co. 2 on his 79th anniversary with the department.

Amiel has been a member since July 7, 1942. Members of the department held a celebration for Amiel yesterday at the firehouse in Nyack.

Congratulations Amiel, and thank you for your dedicated service!

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
