Clarkstown Police Department Is Excited To Introduce It’s Newest Member K9 Drogo

The Clarkstown Police Department is excited to introduce the newest member of the Clarkstown Police K9 Unit! K9 Drogo, a 19-month-old male Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix from Hungary, and his handler, Officer Levy, recently graduated from a 17-week patrol K9 school hosted by the Yonkers Police Department. With this addition, CPD now has three full-time K9 teams dedicated to serving the Town of Clarkstown.
In the coming months, K9 Drogo and Officer Levy will continue their training to become certified in narcotics detection.

Congratulations To The Clarkstown Police Department Youth Police Academy

Captain Fay, Captain Cummings, Supervisor Hoehmann, and the entire Town Board were proud to attend the graduation of the Clarkstown Police Department Youth Police Academy. This outstanding group of high school students has successfully completed a rigorous 10-week program, gaining valuable, hands-on experience in various aspects of law enforcement.
Throughout the program, students learned valuable skills and knowledge in areas such as defensive tactics, criminal investigation, and crime scene forensics, among others. Their hard work, dedication, and passion for learning were evident in their commitment to the program.
A special thank you to Lt. Kieran Dwyer and our dedicated Clarkstown Police Department School Resource Officers for their leadership and guidance in making this program a success.
We are incredibly proud of our future leaders and the next generation of law enforcement professionals!

HPD Kicks Off The 2025 Season Of Cops And Kids Program At Fieldstone Middle School

The initial session of the Cops and Kids program in 2025 kicked off today at Fieldstone Middle School with a friendly game of dodgeball. This program is an opportunity for our department to connect with the youth in the community.
School Resource Officer Joe Bertolino, along with Police Officers Aquino and Fit, joined the students in the game, creating a fun environment that encouraged interaction between the kids and the police officers. We thank the North Rockland School District for their partnership and collaboration.
