Clarkstown’s Mary Naughton Achieves Girl Scout Gold Award

NEW CITY, NY – Congratulations to Town of Clarkstown resident, Mary Naughton, Troop 40315, on achieving her Girl Scout Gold Award. Supervisor George Hoehmann presented Mary a certificate for completing her project in which she painted inspirational murals and quotes on the walls inside the girls and boys locker rooms at Clarkstown High School South.

Mary’s project goal was to address the lack of self-esteem and positive self-image amongst high school-aged girls and boys. Mary’ sister also previously received her gold award and her two brothers achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
