CONGERS, NY – Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Congers Collision have been organizing birthday celebrations for Rockland County residents.

When the outbreak broke out, Owner James DeStaso felt strongly that he had to do something to support the community. DeStaso is a lifelong Rockland County resident, graduate of Clarkstown South High School, and is a very active member of the community. He has invested into the county of Rockland and has one of the most successful collision companies in the Hudson Valley. His company has performed over 20 birthday drive-by celebrations over the last two months, putting endless smiles on peoples faces.

We went out to meet James and his team as they wished a Happy 14th Birthday to Grace Termine in New City.

Palisades Mall Reopens The Iconic Ferris Wheel

The 60-foot tall attraction is the only indoor Ferris Wheel in New York. It is now open daily in the Food Court from 12:30 to 8 PM. The mall will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, January 18th from 12 to 3 PM that’ll feature live entertainment and half-price rides for all guests. The Ferris Wheel had been part of Palisades Center since the mall opened in 1998. The carousel was removed in 2021 and replaced with a rock climbing wall. – WRCR.

This is their first location and are proudly representing Rockland County. “Uptown Coffee Bar is a new coffee shop in West Nyack, across from the Palisades Mall. UCB will differentiate itself by having a fun urban/multicultural vibe and friendly service. Our coffee is sourced from La Colombe, a specialty roaster that offers coffee/espresso that is a step up from Starbucks, Dunkin’, and the other coffee shops in the area.”
