CONGERS, NY – On Monday, December 7, 2020 the Congers Fire Department organized a drive-by goodbye for Congers Firefighter Dominic Savarese, who is leaving for the US Air Force Reserves for basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.

“On behalf of the officers and members of the Congers Fire Department, we wish you the best! Be safe and good luck!” posted on the Congers FD Facebook page.

Congers-Valley Cottage Volunteer Ambulance Corps, New City Fire Engine Co. No. 1, Valley Cottage Fire Department, Rockland Lake Fire Department, West-Nyack Fire-Department, Haverstraw Fire Department, Clarkstown Police Department, Supervisor George Hoehmann & Clarkstown Ward 2 Councilman Michael Graziano.
