SUFFERN, NY – A verified GoFundMe has been created for the Suffern family whose family home of 38 years was destroyed during a quick moving fire on Sunday (February 7, 2021) morning.

The family has tragically lost a beloved pet parrot and all of their belongings.Any donation would go to help this family get back on their feet as they will be displaced from their home with their two children for a long time as they rebuild their life.

HPD Kicks Off The 2025 Season Of Cops And Kids Program At Fieldstone Middle School

The initial session of the Cops and Kids program in 2025 kicked off today at Fieldstone Middle School with a friendly game of dodgeball. This program is an opportunity for our department to connect with the youth in the community.
School Resource Officer Joe Bertolino, along with Police Officers Aquino and Fit, joined the students in the game, creating a fun environment that encouraged interaction between the kids and the police officers. We thank the North Rockland School District for their partnership and collaboration.
