Hillcrest: Structure Fire on Orchard St.

HILLCREST, NY – Around 4 pm on Tuesday November 12, Firefighters were dispatched to 2 Orchard Street in Hillcrest for a structure fire.

Firefighters arrived on scene and found an active working fire that engulfed most of the residential home. s

5 Fire Departments arrived on scene to provide mutual aid. No residents or firefighters were injured. The home had extensive damage and is un-inhabitable.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
