Residents of Pearl River and surrounding Rockland County communities will once again have a place to shop local and connect with neighbors as the Pearl River Farmers Market returns for the 2026 season.

Opening on Saturday, May 9, the weekly market will take place at Central Avenue Field from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and continue throughout the season every Saturday.

The market is expected to feature a variety of local vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, artisanal products, and handcrafted items. Organizers say the goal is to provide a welcoming space where residents can support small businesses while enjoying a lively, outdoor atmosphere.

Farmers markets have become an increasingly popular staple in communities like Pearl River, offering not only access to locally sourced food but also a chance to strengthen connections between residents and regional growers and makers.

Visitors can expect a family-friendly environment, with opportunities to browse seasonal selections, discover unique goods, and enjoy a relaxed weekend outing. The event also encourages sustainable shopping habits by promoting locally grown and produced items.
