STONY POINT, NY – Lifelong Rockland Resident and Decorated NYPD Sergeant Passes Away From 9/11-related illness.
Sgt. William Brautigam joined the NYPD just two months before the 9/11 terror attacks. During his career, he made nearly 700 arrests and was the recipient of numerous awards citations.

 

Brautigam, who was born in Nanuet and lived in Stony Point, passed away earlier this week and is survived by his wife and two sons. He was 47 years old.

He will always be remembered and never forgotten. 🇺🇸

Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons die in house fire

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
