Report: New York had fourth highest number of robocalls in 2018

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY – A study published last week found that New York had the fourth highest number of robocall complaints in 2018.

The website “socialcatfish.com” did an analysis of data from the Federal Trade Commission. New York had 348,651 robocall complaints filed with the commission.

According to SocialCatfish.com, April of 2019 saw a total of 3.5 billion robocalls to mobile phones in the United States. They expect the number of robocalls to dramatically increase due to employing artificial intelligence bots.
