POMONA, NY – On Sunday, the Rockland Boulders honored the 2019 Haverstraw/Nanuet Little League Junior Girls Softball Team and the 2019 Haverstraw Little League Boys Baseball Team at Palisades Credit Union Park.
Both teams had historic seasons. The Haverstraw boys Little League team represented the state of New York, and ended up losing to Elmora, New Jersey 19-4 in the Mid-Atlantic Regional.
The Haverstraw/Nanuet Softball headed to the Junior LL World Series and would win 2 games at the tournament. The future of Baseball and Softball for North Rockland High School is extremely bright.

This Thursday, Oct. 24, the New York Liberty will celebrate its first WNBA Championship in franchise history with a ticker tape parade through New York City. The parade will tip off at 10 a.m. from Battery Park and proceed north along Broadway to City Hall, through what is known as the “Canyon of Heroes.” Following the parade, there will be a ceremony at City Hall honoring the New York Liberty at noon.
