New Scenic Trail Underway to Connect Demarest Kill Park and Dutch Garden

Construction has begun on a new and improved walking path that will connect the rear of Demarest Kill Park to Dutch Garden. Stretching nearly half a mile, the trail will guide visitors below the dam, through wooded areas, and alongside the picturesque Demarest Kill brook.

Scheduled for completion by the end of summer (weather permitting), the trail will feature benches, newly planted deciduous and evergreen trees, a variety of shrubs, and vibrant wildflowers.
