POMONA, NY – Rockland County Sheriff Lou Falco Under Fire: News12 has uncovered a racist post shared by the Sheriff on his personal Facebook page.

The article, entitled “Racist Black Thugs Shoot White Baby in the Face for the Fun of It,” is referring to an incident that occurred in 2013 in Georgia. Sheriff Falco told News12 that he shared the post by mistake and that he meant to share it through Facebook Messenger privately.

The article which can be seen below, is from a pro-white supremacist news outlet.

Wilbur Aldridge of the Rockland County NAACP, says the content is especially concerning because he is a public servant appointed to serve the people. News 12 reached out to the Rockland County Executive Ed Day but has not heard back. We will update this post when Day responds.

Calls for Sheriff Falco’s resignation have already begun. Sources tell us that protests are being organized and will be announced in the coming days. Video by News 12 Hudson Valley.

School Resource Officer Joe Bertolino, along with Police Officers Aquino and Fit, joined the students in the game, creating a fun environment that encouraged interaction between the kids and the police officers. We thank the North Rockland School District for their partnership and collaboration.
