Rockland Hospitals Release New Guidelines Regarding Children Visiting Newborns

    Rockland County Hospitals policy on children visiting newborns (according to News 12):

– Good Samaritan Hospital’s policy bars all visitors under age 18, regardless of their vaccination history.

– Montefiore Nyack Hospital allows children under age 13 to visit on a case-by-case basis, granted they show no signs of illness.

– Both Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown and Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla welcome children visitors.

The number of measles cases in Rockland County is now at 199 confirmed cases.
