SPRING VALLEY, NY – Around 9 am, a Spring Valley parent pepper sprayed a nurse at a town day camp located at Spring Valley High School following a confrontation, according to police.
According to NBC NY, Spokesperson for the East Ramapo Central School District, Scott Salotto, stated the parent confronted the nurse just before 9 a.m. following an earlier phone dispute between the two.
Salotto says the parent signed in at the security desk, was cleared to the nurse’s office and it was there where the parent pepper sprayed her.
The nurse was taken to Good Samaritan hospital in Suffern for evaluation and was treated and released.
Spring Valley Police are still looking for the parent.
