SUFFERN, NY – On Sunday January 5, 2020 around 8:30 pm, the Suffern Fire Department responded to 24 East Park Place in the Village of Suffern for an electrical fire inside the home.

Arriving police officers found a fire located in rear of the home – in the kitchen area. Firefighters were able to quickly knockdown the fire. The home would suffer damage to the exterior and kitchen area.

No residents or firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
