Town of Clarkstown Provides $41,000 EMS Grant to the Congers-Valley Cottage Volunteer Ambulance Corps

NEW CITY, NY – Town of Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann and Councilman Mike Graziano presented a $41,000 EMS grant to the Congers-Valley Cottage Volunteer Ambulance Corps on behalf of the Town.

The Town of Clarkstown provided the funding through ARPA to help the ambulance corps have the proper vehicles and equipment to serve our community. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Niles Davies accepted the grant on behalf of the ambulance corps.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
