NEW CITY, NY –

On Thursday, May 21st, the Town of Clarkstown along with the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce and New City Chamber of Commerce are hosting an important Reopening Clarkstown webinar.

The webinar will include town staff from the building, planning and law departments as well from the SBA and Nanuet and New City chambers offering insight and strategies on what will be needed to reopen local businesses. All businesses must prepare a reopening plan that is available to the Health Department upon request. A model plan will be discussed and offered.

The webinar will have discussions on how the building and fire inspectors will expedite inspections and offer helpful suggestions on how business owners can meet social distancing requirements. The town planner and town attorney will offer an update on some potential options we are pursuing to allow more opportunities for outside dinning and sidewalk use for local restaurants and stores.
