ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY – For the last year (starting on April 20, 2019) we have followed Rockland County Volunteer Firefighters as they responded to a variety of calls from structure fires, hiker rescues, and extractions.

The professionalism and dedication we have witnessed first-hand has been nothing short of first class. The residents of Rockland can sleep easy knowing the men and women who make up the Rockland County fire service are ready to respond to any call at a moments notice.

HPD Kicks Off The 2025 Season Of Cops And Kids Program At Fieldstone Middle School

The initial session of the Cops and Kids program in 2025 kicked off today at Fieldstone Middle School with a friendly game of dodgeball. This program is an opportunity for our department to connect with the youth in the community.
School Resource Officer Joe Bertolino, along with Police Officers Aquino and Fit, joined the students in the game, creating a fun environment that encouraged interaction between the kids and the police officers. We thank the North Rockland School District for their partnership and collaboration.

The police departments have seen an increase, especially among our teenage population, in Instagram phishing scams. Reminder: do not share personal information, do not send money to those trying to hold your account for “ransom”, review your security features on your accounts and when possible- use two-factor authentication and don’t share passwords or codes.
