The rescued alligator has captured a great deal of interest from the community so HVHS wanted to provide an update. “The herpetology expert from the Bronx Zoo was kind enough to come by and take a look at our friend to assess his overall health and “HE” is in pretty good shape! Yes … we have a BOY! We have two names going for him one is “Philippe” the other is “Al E. Gator” and we would like help from the community to weigh in on which name is preferred.” The HVHS continue to support him in warming up. The DEC has been a great help too and they are assisting us with placement which, in NYS, requires specific credentials. William Donato has been missing since Saturday, November 2nd. He was last seen leaving his school campus in Nyack. He was followed but they lost site of him. He hasn’t contacted anyone or been active on social media. For those of you that know me and my family, know this has happened in the past. But he has always returned and contacted us. Please please. Anyone, pass his picture around and please help me find him. He likes to go into NYC and ride the trains. But he has ended up in CT before. Please. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
