STONY POINT, NY – A vehicle fire Sunday around 3:30 pm on the southbound side of the Palisades Interstate Parkway near Stony Point caused traffic delays and a temporary closure.

The PIP was temporarily closed while members of the Stony Point Fire Department responded to the scene. As you can see in the video, the car was apart of a group of cars who stopped along the interstate. There were no reports of any injuries to the occupants of the car or responding firefighters.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
