Video sent to the Rockland Report shows a Spring Valley Firefighter rescuing a doe who was drowning in the water. The doe was quickly handed to Chavivim members who transported it to land and to be reunited with its mother.

CPD Report Serious Motor Vehicle Accident Involving Pedestrian Closes Southbound Route 304 in New City

Clarkstown Police Department is on scene at a serious motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Route 304 and Main Street in New City.
As a result, Route 304 southbound lanes are currently closed. The Clarkstown Police Accident Investigation Team is actively investigating.
The pedestrian sustained severe injuries and has been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
Please avoid the area and use alternate routes.
