Village of Suffern to Host “Rockland County Fireman’s Parade” on Saturday, September 7th

SUFFERN, NY – Village of Suffern officials announced the annual “Rockland County Fireman’s Parade” will be held in the village. The parade will honor firefighters from all of Rockland County as well as surrounding areas.

The event is being co-sponsored by the Tallman Fire Department and will be on Saturday, September 7th. Stay tuned for more information as we get closer to the event.

HPD Kicks Off The 2025 Season Of Cops And Kids Program At Fieldstone Middle School

The initial session of the Cops and Kids program in 2025 kicked off today at Fieldstone Middle School with a friendly game of dodgeball. This program is an opportunity for our department to connect with the youth in the community.
School Resource Officer Joe Bertolino, along with Police Officers Aquino and Fit, joined the students in the game, creating a fun environment that encouraged interaction between the kids and the police officers. We thank the North Rockland School District for their partnership and collaboration.

Reminder: do not share personal information, do not send money to those trying to hold your account for “ransom”, review your security features on your accounts and when possible- use two-factor authentication and don’t share passwords or codes.
