NEW CITY, NY: At the New York State VFW Public Servant Awards, Dispatcher Jason DiSalvo, was awarded the prestigious New York State Dispatcher of the Year award. This was presented to Jason in recognize his dedication and selfless service to the community of Clarkstown. Dispatcher DiSalvo has served the Town of Clarkstown with distinction for the past 20 years.

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
