World War II Veteran and Congers Firefighter Al Magnatta Celebrates 99th Birthday

CONGERS, NEW YORK – Members of the Congers Fire Department gathered to celebrate the 99th birthday of longtime member Al Magnatta. He served our country in World War 2 and has held several positions in the Congers Fire Department including Chief. Happy Birthday!

ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Tragedy in Orange County: A 50-year-old dad and his two young sons died in a house fire on Saturday night on Pulaski Highway in Goshen, located in Orange County, NY.

Both sons were nonverbal and had autism, according to News 12.

State police said emergency crews arrived at the fire just after 8 p.m. and found the home completely engulfed in flames. One neighbor said he saw about 30 trucks that were filled with responders.
