Fatal Crash on N. Little Tor Road in New City Claims Three Lives

NEW CITY, NY — September 28, 2025 — A devastating single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning has claimed the lives of three individuals in New City, according to the Clarkstown Police Department.

At approximately 3:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a serious crash near the intersection of N. Little Tor Road and Roberts Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a gray Honda Civic that had veered off the roadway and collided with a tree. The impact caused catastrophic damage to the vehicle.

Emergency medical personnel at the scene pronounced all three occupants of the vehicle deceased. The victims have been identified as two males and one female, though their names and ages are being withheld pending family notification.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones affected by this tragic loss,” the Clarkstown Police Department said in a statement.

The Accident Investigation Unit of the Clarkstown Police Department is currently examining the circumstances surrounding the crash. Investigators are working to determine contributing factors such as speed, road conditions, or potential impairment.

Unidentified Man Found Dead in Spring Valley; Ramapo Police Investigating

SPRING VALLEY, NY — Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead early Saturday morning in the Town of Ramapo.

According to the Ramapo Police Department, officers responded around 7:15 a.m. on April 18, 2026, to a report of a deceased individual near Park Avenue in Spring Valley. At the scene, officers discovered the body of an unidentified male, believed to be between 27 and 34 years old, beneath a parked truck. Police say there is currently no indication that the vehicle itself was involved in the incident.

Preliminary findings suggest the death did not occur immediately prior to the discovery. The circumstances remain unclear and are under active investigation.

The department’s Investigations Unit, along with crash investigators and accident reconstruction teams, responded to the scene and are working to determine what happened. Authorities are also pursuing leads to identify the individual.

The Ramapo Police Department is coordinating with the Spring Valley Police Department, and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office as the investigation continues.
