Tracy Wolfson grew up in Congers and attended Clarkstown High School North (Class of ’93). She then went to the University of Michigan, and graduated with a degree in communications. Her on-air career began at WZBN in Trenton, New Jersey, as a sports anchor. Woflson would later work for MSG Network as an anchor and reporter as well as covering golf, college football and Arena Football for ESPN from 2002–2003.
Since 2004, she has been the CBS college football sideline reporter. She was apart of what was considered to be part of one of the best college football broadcast teams in the country. As a sideline reporter, Wolfson primarily interviews coaches at the end of each half and also gives updates on player injuries.
In 2014, it was announced that Wolfson would be joining Jim Nantz and Phil Simms as an NFL sideline reporter on Thursday night and Sunday afternoon games.
She is currently the floor reporter for CBS/TBS NCAA men’s basketball championship games. Wolfson currently resides in Tenafly, New Jersey with her husband, David Reichel, and their three sons.
VIDEO: Wolfson gained national attention when for three minutes she stood by as Tom Brady hugged everyone from coach Bill Belichick to owner Bob Kraft. Her patience was rewarded, and finally Brady stopped to speak with her.
