This is an AMBER Alert Cancellation. The New York Police Department is cancelling the AMBER Alert that was activated at 8:46 PM on 8/5/2019 regarding Sincere Gilchrist.

AMBER ALERT ***PLEASE SHARE***

The New York Police Department has activated the New York State AMBER Alert and is investigating a child abduction that occurred near 95 Kingston Avenue, in Brooklyn, New York at about 6:50 PM on 8/5/2019.

The CHILD, Sincere Gilchrist is a Black male, approximately 1 year 8 months old with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 2 feet and weighs about 35 pounds. Sincere was last seen wearing Gray Tee Shirt with “Supreme” in Red, Black Shorts with “Supreme” in Red and Nike multicolor Sneakers. Child was in Car Seat in the rear seat on the passenger side of the vehicle

The VEHICLE has been identified as a White SUV Mitsubishi with New York license plate number HYB6531.

The VEHICLE was last seen traveling on Kinston Avenue.

THE CHILD WAS TAKEN UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES THAT LEAD POLICE TO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE IN IMMINENT DANGER OF SERIOUS HARM AND/OR DEATH.

  • Traffic Enforcement: Two individuals were cited for operating vehicles with suspended licenses.

  • Disturbance at Local Bar: Officers responded to an altercation involving two patrons. Both were arrested for assault, with one facing a felony assault charge.

  • Serious Crime Investigation: Detectives quickly acted on a report of forcible rape. By evening, a suspect was arrested and charged with Rape in the First Degree.

Clarkstown Police Department Arrest 2 During Trafficking Operation in Nanuet and Rescue Multiple Children

NANUET, NY – The Clarkstown Police Department’s Street Crime Unit successfully conducted an undercover operation at a residence located at 16 Smith Road in Nanuet, targeting individuals involved in prostitution and sex trafficking.
The operation stemmed from community concerns and reports of suspected illicit activity at the location. Officers from the Street Crime Unit initiated an investigation by infiltrating online platforms commonly used to facilitate such crimes. Through surveillance and undercover work, officers identified individuals actively participating in and promoting illegal prostitution and trafficking activities.
As a result of the operation, two adult suspects were apprehended and charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor offenses related to sex trafficking and child endangerment. Additionally, several children were found inside the residence. They were immediately transported to a local hospital for observation and care. Child Protective Services were notified and are now involved in the ongoing investigation.

The following individuals were arrested:

Negri Sanz Del Orbe, 42, Female, of Nanuet, NY

Charges: Sex Trafficking, Promoting Prostitution in the 3rd Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment in the 2nd, Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the 1st, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Permitting Prostitution, Criminal Nuisance in the 2nd

Remanded to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash, $200,000 bond, $300,000 partially secured bond and ordered to appear in Clarkstown Justice Court on June 11, 2025, at 1:30p.m.

Luis Mendez-Valdez, 31, Male, of Nanuet, NY

Charges: Sex Trafficking, Promoting Prostitution in the 3rd Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment in the 2nd, Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the 1st, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Permitting Prostitution, Criminal Nuisance in the 2nd

Remanded to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash, $200,000 bond, $300,000 partially secured bond and ordered to appear in Clarkstown Justice Court on June 11, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
