CHESTNUT RIDGE, NY – Around noon on Saturday, the South Spring Valley and Spring Valley responded to a reported car & attached garage fire on Midway Road in the Village of Chestnut Ridge.

After confirming an active working fire, mutual aid was rendered by Hillcrest FD, Monsey FD, Nanuet FD, Pearl River FD, and Tallman covered the South Spring Valley’s firehouse. Rockland Paramedic Services and William P Faist Ambulance were also on scene providing assisting.

There were no reports of any injuries to the occupants of the home or responding firefighters.
