Rockland County Soil & Water Conservation District Hosting Bird Walk at Mount Ivy County Park on Friday, February 14th

POMONA, NY – The Rockland County Soil & Water Conservation District will be hosting a bird walk at the Mount Ivy County Park on Friday, February 14th, 2020 from 10 am – 11 am.

Come participate in a free guided group walk as staff provide information on common birds found in the Northeast. During the walk, you will identify and count birds you see along the way. At the conclusion of the program, staff will upload the findings to eBird to be counted towards the Great Backyard Bird Count. After the walk, you are invited to join us for hot chocolate and other refreshments in the Fire Training Center. See the flyer below for additional details.
