On The Record: Term Limits for Rockland County Elected Officials

NEW CITY, NY – There has been much talk about imposing term limits for Rockland County Elected Officials. Over the next two weeks, we will be contacting all members of the Rockland County Legislature to get their stance on imposition of term limits. This article will be updated with their responses.

The movement to impose term limits in Rockland started with Lauren Marie Wohl, admin of the popular Facebook group Clarkstown Community Uncensored. During the last election cycle, a video of Wohl questioning Legislator Aney Paul went viral locally.

Currently, The Town of Clarkstown is the only town in Rockland that has imposed term limits.
