Lucas Candies Candy Cane Show is Back!

Lucas Candies in Haverstraw has been making chocolate and sweets in the same location since 1896. It remains family owned and dedicated to keeping the traditions that were started over 120 years ago.

The beloved candy cane shows with Nick and Deb will be starting on December 3rd and be held every weekend in December. Saturday’s at 12pm or 3pm and Sunday’s at 1:00pm. The owners are beyond excited to finally sharing their candy cane making process with you all again.

No reservations are needed and the show is free! Come in and enjoy a demonstration of how you make candy cane’s the old fashioned way. It will definitely put you in the Holiday spirit!

George Hoehmann,Town of Clarkstown Supervisor said “one of the questions I am most asked is when will Chick-fil-A come to the Town of Clarkstown? My administration worked to get folks connected and a deal was negotiated and the site was approved some time ago. The demolition of the existing buildings started in Nanuet this week. The anticipated opening is late spring to early summer of 2025. Looking forward to another new business in our town.
