Hundreds gather in Congers to celebrate the life of Steven Dauksza
On April 20th, Hundreds gathered in Congers to celebrate the life of Steven Dauksza at the 1st Annual Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser. They honored his memory by raising money to be awarded annually to promising students looking to follow in Steven’s footprints and pursue a career as a mechanic.
The event awarded 3 students, each a $2,000 scholarships to attend RCC for auto-mechanic school and the next scholarship will be awarded November 1st, which is Steven’s birthday. For more information or to make a donation, please email [email protected]
Steve Dauksza died in a 2018 car accident in Orange County, New York. He was 27 years old.

Established in 2006, it’s a special day for dog lovers to celebrate the unconditional love of puppies and admire the adorable little furballs that bring so much joy into the world. While we can’t resist their cuteness, the day also aims to raise awareness about puppy mills and encourage potential pet owners to consider adopting instead of buying.
