Rockland’s Kelly Brady, North Rockland HS Grad, Signs to play professional soccer for Athlone FC in Ireland.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Kelly Brady for the 2025 season! Kelly Brady is a striker hailing from Rockland County, New York, in her high-school career she scored 78 times and assisted 39 times, alongside winning Section 1 and being named Player of the Year in 2019. In college she played for both CCSU and the University of Mississippi, where she scored 25 times and assisted 15 times. She has also played with the Irish U19 squad in 2019 scoring 5 times in 7 games! “

Congratulations to Emily Rodriguez of Nyack High School, who is a NY State Champion in Wrestling!

This is a historic moment as this was the first ever NYSPHSAA Girls Wrestling Championship! Emily is also the first Nyack HS State Champ since Marcel Cooper won his title in 1988. Emily won all four matches via pin, beating an undefeated All-American and Nationally-ranked wrestler to win the championship.
