Lord & Taylor In Palisades Mall To Close January 2020: Report

WEST NYACK, NY – The Rockland County Business Journal is reporting that Lord & Taylor’s at the Palisades Center is closing its doors on January 29th, 2020.

The closing of Lord & Taylor is another hit for The Palisades Center, where former anchor J. C. Penney remains vacant. It also joins Sears and Macy’s who also closed this year at the Nanuet Mall.

“It’s really sad,” said a salesperson who confirmed closure of the store to the Rockland Business Journal. “There are a lot of people who work here.”

Construction For Chick-fil-A Has Started, Crews Can Be Seen Removing The Old Strip Mall

George Hoehmann,Town of Clarkstown Supervisor said “one of the questions I am most asked is when will Chick-fil-A come to the Town of Clarkstown? My administration worked to get folks connected and a deal was negotiated and the site was approved some time ago. The demolition of the existing buildings started in Nanuet this week. The anticipated opening is late spring to early summer of 2025. Looking forward to another new business in our town.
